EBT Balance Inquiry

EBT Balance Inquiry - Step 1

To process an EBT Balance Inquiry, start from the CHEXIT Main Menu, then select the EBT Balance Inquiry button.

EBT Balance Inquiry - Step 2

Next, select the EBT Transaction Type:

  • Food Stamp

  • Cash Benefits

  • E-WIC

EBT Balance Inquiry - Step 3

The cardholder is prompted to swipe their card and enter their PIN.

EBT Balance Inquiry - Step 4

A receipt will print for the customer with their EBT balance, then the CHEXIT Balance Inquiry screen will display the transaction details along with two options:

  1. Print - prints a duplicate receipt for the customer with their EBT balance, if needed.

  2. New Transaction - returns you to the CHEXIT Main Menu.
